Table Saw Bevel Jig Plans
Table Saw Bevel Jig Plans
The table saw is a powerful, useful, and almost invaluable tool in the workshop. But could be better. The way a table saw is set up it’s really only safe to make miters or bevles that range between 45º and 90º. However, if we simply turn our stock vertically instead of flat on the table, and make it safe to cut this way, all of a sudden we’ve unlocked all of the angles previously unavailable on the table saw.
Why does this matter? Well, the number of projects you can make, safely, all of a sudden grows. You can make acute angle trapezoids like Chris Salamone’s Bad Larry, or super steep triangles like in our DIY Book Stands. It really just opens up a bunch of potential at your table saw.
Plus a bevel jig is super easy to build, so why not? 🤷♂️
